Our Promise to You

Maintain a safe and clean environment following the guidelines placed by the Board of Health and the City of New York.

Provide daily health screenings, additional hand washing and sanitizing and increased sanitizing of facilities. Not to mention smaller group activities and more outside time.

Maintain open communication
between teachers and parents so as to provide the children with the support they need.

Provide support and resources for all parents affected heavily by the virus.

Maintain all programming that brings joy to the children in a fun but safe way.
The Larimar Community Center is dedicating every resource it has in protecting your child and preparing them for the school year ahead and the summer. We do require masks to be worn over the nose while indoors and in their small groups. After a year of at home learning it will be beneficial to your child's emotional health and wellbeing to be part of a group of their peers in a safe environment where they can learn and interact with others at their own pace. The Larimar Community Center is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition from in home learning to both the after school program and the summer camp program. We promise to keep parents informed and up to date in any and all changes. So please feel free to join us bringing in a new normal where everyone is safe, happy and excited to learn.
